When I set up The Leaders Advisory, a high-performance coaching business, I needed a world-class personality profiling platform to underpin professional sport and business leadership models.
Researching all the well-known profiling providers and exploring potential partners who understood my requirements, PeopleMaps won across serval key criteria, in particular, the power to surface actionable data in simple language that doesn’t require interpretation.
Martin and the team at PeopleMaps are brilliant to work with and I’m not just convinced that these are the best applications available today, I’m excited about the direction of the partnership and shared vision for success.

We have been using People Maps for over 10 years, it has become an integral part of our recruitment process in this time and we would not consider taking on new staff without asking them to complete a tailored questionnaire. We regularly recruit for many different roles and there is invariable a specific report available dependant of the type of position we are looking to fill, we always refer to the interview guidelines provided by these reports based on the individual’s personality.

Moshe Gordon on the Management Report
After reading the PeopleMaps Management report, I have a better understanding of how I am as a manager. In fact, I reflected on past situations and understand better how I reacted and why I reacted in the way I did. I also found the report helpful in identifying the things I need to look out for, and the reasons why. I also found useful the comments on how to be a better manager (for me, recognising the need to work on different ways to motivate my team or team members). I found the report informative and insightful, and I am looking forward to applying the insights as a manager.
Moshe Gordon on the Entrepreneurship report
I really liked the Entrepreneurship report. The report, based on your personality, is practical, comprehensive and thought-provoking. As I understand it, the test is an assessment of your personality, which is based on you at your natural best.
This allows the report to tie the “what” of entrepreneurship to the “how” you would approach that issue (and what is motivating to you). The report covers all the relevant areas of entrepreneurship (such as managing teams or financial control), which highlights where you would add value/be effective and where you need to be aware/may struggle.
This report is not meant to be prescriptive. It doesn’t say “you will be a great entrepreneur”. What it says is “here’s what to consider if you want to be an entrepreneur”. You will have to do the hard work of determining if a situation will get the best from you. If you have a situation the report becomes a good resource to review how you may want to tackle the situation. To me that makes the report a great resource to go back to over and over again.
There are no guarantees when it comes to entrepreneurship, but with a good understanding of what fits your personality, you can up your odds.
It’s simple to use – only takes a few minutes to complete and the results are shockingly accurate.
We have found it very useful and a real help with recruitment. Not only can we get an insight into an applicant’s characters to see if they fit our profile but more recently if they would fit our working environment. This has been massive as it helps with staff retention. It’s all well and good getting staff that can do the job but if they hate working in a gallery then they won’t stay long no matter what you do.

“I have always had an aversion to systems that give people labels and put them in boxes. As a coach, my role is to help people have the best career, the best business and the best life they can, and labels can restrict that. I was delighted therefore to discover that PeopleMaps is a tool to help people work with their natural strengths and energy.
The online training they provide is structured in bite size chunks enabling you to easily see your progression supported with the facility to seek further clarification on understanding every step of the way. It is detailed enough to enable me as a coach to explain the profile with confidence to a client, without having to have a higher degree in psychology!” – Miranda

“We are a technology-focused company that has been growing, and we have a number of relatively new managers who hire people, but they don’t have any formal experience in interview techniques or hiring practices. We don’t need training to understand the reports”. Randy Byrne
Hi Martin,
I think this course is not only informative but gave me so much confidence in my personality and I would not hesitate to recommend this course to others.
Bianca
You can use The 3 Step System to line up interviews for even the most interesting and exciting fields of work.
Martin,
I look forward to the 1-2-1 session at one today.
My feedback so far would be generally very positive. I think the personality analysis is a good fit for me. Like you say, there are small areas where I might disagree but on the whole I think that the profile is accurate.
Christopher
In fact you can use it to figure out what you were simply born to be.
Hi Martin,
Quite simply yes – I must say I was a bit sceptical at first – but the Analysis so far seems to be spot on and getting more accurate as the course goes on!
Regards Geoff
In about one hundredth of the time it takes to get interviews for crappy jobs you don’t even want you could land some interviews for cool, exciting jobs that pay well.
Martin,
I am inclined to agree that talent, or personality, is more important than skills. Looking back over my experience, and having being recently in close contact with a job club, based on the skills-based approach, I would recommend the 3 step system.
Best wishes
Ian
Hi Martin,
Thanks for your email. I am very encouraged by what I have seen and what I have done in the 3-step approach and am ready to continue to the bitter end!
Seriously I really like the psychology side of things a lot. There is such a thing as horses for courses, if you get my meaning, it’s all about self-knowledge and self-development.
Regards,
Jalal
Martin,
I have gone through all the material you have posted so far and on the whole I am quite happy with the progress. There are always certain things of course that could be improved. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to others though.
