Stress is bad. So I thought I would share with you a few tricks on what you can do about it.
Stress kills. Possible more than any other disease. It can be argued that a great deal of the heart disease and even cancer that is experienced was brought about by anxiety. And even if we discover ourselves arguing over whether stress causes cardiac arrest, I think any sort of specialist would agree that worry is not a good thing for your health.
Stress is the main reason we have sick leave. There are thousands of sick days taken every year due to anxiety.
So just what has it got to do with your personality test?
Well one sure explanation for stress is a mismatch between your personality and your environment. If you discover yourself needing to adapt all the time and be someone you are not, then eventually you come to be stressed.
This holds true at work or in your home. Live in harmony with your personality and you will certainly see an immediate drop in your stress levels.
It’s not actually the situation itself that is stressful, it’s how we approach it and that is determined by our personality type. How we approach the world is determined by our personality. This is why a personality test may save your life.
Take skydiving for example. For some it would certainly be extremely demanding, for others it’s a pastime and they do it for fun. Public speaking is also a good example. If public speaking stresses you and your job sees you needing to do it on a routine basis, then you will eventually make yourself unwell.
Those on the introvert scale become stressed with too much interaction with other people. And those on the extrovert scale would become stressed if there was insufficient contact with other people.
So what is a personality test for stress?
Well it’s not asking you if you are stressed. It’s just a regular PeopleMaps Report however you use it to figure out if you are placing yourself in harms way or not. It will tell you what kind of environment you need and you can judge for yourself if you are providing it to yourself or if you are asking for trouble.
Stress can be subtle and has a tendency to sneak up on you. Your personality test can help you avoid stress in your life and that can only be a good thing for your health.
Relationship Stress
The people closest to us – the ones we love – are also the people most able to raise our stress levels.
Much of the stress we experience results from the people we are most intimate with. Most of our pleasure in life also comes from those same people.
So what are we to do? Are we to avoid those people? Of course not. Instead we have to understand them and understand ourselves. From a position of understanding it is possible to reduce and even eliminate the number of stressful incidents that come from interacting with the people we love.
Once you understand someone’s personality you will see more and more that they are not trying to annoy you, it is simply their personality at play. Often you need nothing more than this level of understanding.
